Better Than Bill Gates

A couple weeks ago Josh's computer died. (As of now, it looks like he will be able to get all the information off of it that he needs/wants). A day or two after it happened Hans was running a little late and so we started our morning session with prayer, prior to his arrival. He came in as we were praying and heard us asking for a computer for Josh (and one for Emily, too). This prayer was preceded by a conversation or two about how neither he, nor Emily, needed a new laptop, just one that worked...that would support the language-learning software, and preferably the internet too.

After we finished praying Hans asked us if we would worry about having a computer if Bill Gates was our dad. He used it as an opportunity to remind us that God is our loving father. He provides.

About a week ago, after multiple correspondence, Josh got an email letting him know that a laptop was coming his way. It is a brand new laptop (one better than anything he had hoped for or imagined)... Someone or some people in his church are getting it for him.

God is so good. It is in these things, big and small, that over and over again God proves his provision, love, and tremendous blessings. This is just one example of how the Lord has provided since we've been here. One of many...He is not only our provider, He is our provision. ) Praise the Lord.
