Advice, and maybe a challenge

I received the following in an email from a friend of mine on new years day. I didn't know whether to consider it as advice or a challenge. It good as both, really. I hope it inspires you to do something:

Try something new and different, experience life, share time with your loved ones, family and friends. Tell them all how much you care. Make new friends and try new things, like altruism, donating, volunteering, bartering, all the while exchanging how many positive outlooks you bring to all those who cross your path and may Christ be real and intimate to you like never before.
