It Begins...

To start all this, it makes sense to me to give a little explanation on "this whole thing." I intend to give a real intro soon, but in the mean time I will say a word on how this blog got its name. It comes from a quote from the book Brokenness by Nancy Leigh DeMoss. It is one that I often carry with me. As I consider the circumstances of my life (this "faith journey" or "adventure" if you will) I come back to this quote time and time again,

"To know God, to live in His presence and to be occupied with a vision of His holiness is to know how foolish and frail we are apart from Him and to be broken from a preoccupation with ourselves."
